The Role
We’re looking for a Content Editor with deep curiosity about the online gambling industry to own the quality bar for our platform’s casino guides, comparisons, and reviews. You’ll sit at the intersection of editorial craft, search performance, and user experience—shaping how Indian readers discover safe, transparent, and helpful information about online casinos, games, bonuses, and payment options. Your editorial judgment will ensure that every article is accurate, readable, compliant, and optimized for search without sacrificing clarity or trust.
What You’ll Do
- Edit and publish long-form guides, how-tos, and reviews covering casinos, games, bonuses, and payment flows relevant to Indian audiences.
- Coach writers with clear briefs, structured outlines, and actionable feedback to elevate voice, clarity, and narrative flow.
- Own the content calendar, prioritizing topics by search intent, seasonality, and product roadmap; ensure timely delivery across multiple lanes.
- Apply SEO best practices (titles, meta, headers, internal links, schema hints, and on-page UX) while safeguarding editorial integrity.
- Standardize quality using style guides, readability benchmarks, and fact-checking protocols grounded in regulatory norms and safer-gambling messaging.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with design and product to refine layouts, comparison tables, and calls-to-action that improve engagement.
- Measure impact with clear KPIs (organic growth, CTR, time on page, and conversion-adjacent signals) and iterate content based on insights.
- Maintain consistency in terminology for Indian payment methods, local preferences, and region-specific compliance considerations.
What You’ll Bring
- Proven editing experience in consumer content, ideally within the online gambling industry or a similarly regulated, research-heavy niche.
- Expert writing skills with an instinct for structure, voice, and clarity; you can turn complex topics into accessible, trustworthy guidance.
- SEO literacy across on-page fundamentals, search intent, and content architecture; comfort reading performance dashboards and acting on data.
- Audience empathy for Indian players—awareness of local payment habits, device patterns, and content formats that drive trust.
- Process mindset with the ability to brief, scope, and manage multiple deliverables without dropping details.
- Tooling familiarity (Docs, Sheets, project trackers, grammar tools, and basic analytics). CMS experience is a plus.
- Compliance awareness and commitment to responsible-gambling guidelines (tone, disclaimers, signposting, and age-gate awareness).
Nice to Have
- Experience building editorial playbooks, checklists, and reusable templates for repeatable quality.
- Comfort collaborating on comparison tables, rating rubrics, and schema-friendly content blocks.
- Understanding of E-E-A-T principles and how to demonstrate first-hand expertise and accuracy in regulated categories.
